Halloween in Steamboat Springs brings a little extra magic to downtown. Lincoln Ave fills with costumes, families gather for trick-or-treating, and a costume contest!
The annual Halloween Stroll returns Saturday, October 31, from 5–7 p.m., with Lincoln Avenue closed to traffic for the celebration. Whether you arrive dressed for the occasion or simply come to take it all in, there’s plenty to enjoy.
Treats are only part of the attraction. Main Street Steamboat features elaborate costumes, fire dancers, drum circles, and a children’s costume contest. The people-watching is practically an event of its own.
Pull together your costume, grab a candy bag, and dress for a Colorado fall evening. Warm layers beneath costumes and comfortable walking shoes will help everyone enjoy the stroll. Consider meeting friends downtown or adding dinner to your plans for a festive night out.
