Celebrate Independence Day in Steamboat Springs

Thursday, July 2
The celebration begins with Ski Jump training at Howelsen Hill from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at one of Steamboat's most iconic traditions. Head to Steamboat Resort for Sunset Happy Hour from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., then experience the excitement of the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series at 7:30 p.m. at Brent Romick Arena.

Friday, July 3
Watch elite athletes compete during the Ski Jump Competition from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Howelsen Hill, followed by the Olympian Celebration and Flag Dedication from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy another evening of Sunset Happy Hour before heading to the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 4
Independence Day starts with the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m., followed by the Nordic Combined races through downtown before the beloved Fourth of July Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on Lincoln Avenue. Immediately following the parade, head to Howelsen Hill for the legendary Jumpin' & Jammin' Ski Jumping Extravaganza beginning at 11:00 a.m., where world-class ski jumpers launch into the summer air. The Boyd & Berend Group, alongside The Emerald, is proud to sponsor the prize money awarded to this year's Jumpin' & Jammin' champion, celebrating one of Steamboat's most unique traditions. The festivities continue with the 6 Million Dollar Band performing free at Steamboat Resort at 7:30 p.m., the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series at 7:30 p.m., and Dance in the Dirt at 9:30 p.m.
