Friday was the Prudential Steamboat Realty “company ski day.” This is the day that our agents get to dress up like 80’s Uber Geeks and hit the slopes for a little comraderie before the ski area closes.
What a day too! We heard cat-calls from the lifts, disgruntled a few youngsters that accused us of stealing their look and were mistaken a few times for a swedish racing team getting in a few late season practice runs. All in all it was a pretty fine day.
We capped our afternoon with a few apres ski cocktails at the St. Cloud Mountain Club, a membership-only club that’s taken root at the base of the mountain (behind Slopeside Grill). We only had to slip the doorman a couple of fresh “Hamiltons” and we were in! Just kidding. In fact, they club was very gracious to allow us access and it was the perfect ending to a glorious day on the mountain.
… but not until after I fielded a few client calls:
This week I’ll be attending the Prudential National Convention. As in years past, I anticipate returning home with many new pearls of wisdom as to how I can successfully help my clients keep the real estate transactions flowing.
