United Way Day of Caring: A Heartfelt Day at the Routt County Humane Society
The United Way Day of Caring is an annual event that brings communities together through volunteerism and acts of kindness. Individuals and teams from local businesses, schools, and organizations come together to support non-profits and community projects. Our team, the Boyd & Berend Group, took off the day to help mulch and garden around the Routt County Humane Society’s facility.
The Humane Society plays an important role in the Yampa Valley. It provides shelter, medical care, and love to abandoned and stray animals. The staff at the Humane Society work tirelessly to find these special furry friends forever homes. The organization also engages in community outreach and education, promoting responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
The United Way Day of Caring is a testament to the power of collective action and the positive change it can bring. We look forward to future opportunities to serve and make a difference in our community.
