Cam Boyd and Ben Berend attended the Sotheby’s International Realty GNE (Global Networking Event) in Las Vegas, Nevada, this week. This was the first time Sotheby’s brokers have gathered in person since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The GNE conference is a great way to connect with the best agents in the Sotheby’s International Realty network. Attendees watched presentations on sales and marketing best practices and a closer look at the direction of Sotheby’s brand.
Takeaways from the event
“We felt Sotheby’s International Realty is doing an incredible job to promote and market the brand,” said Ben Berend. “People truly associate the brand with luxury as the Sotheby’s Auction House sells the most expensive art, cars, jewelry, etc., in the world. This means that when buyers see the Sotheby’s sign in front of your house, they already associate your property with luxury before even stepping inside. This is incredibly valuable!”
Ben explained, “We attended workshops with industry leaders on negotiation, marketing, hospitality, and many more topics so that we can provide even better service for our clients.”
“We also met with friends and colleagues who are top-producing agents across the world,” Ben added. “Through these relationships, we are able to grow and share ideas. We have also been able to add more agents to our incredible relocation database – so we can refer your friends and family to a Five-Star Agent, no matter where they are going.”
