If you’re looking to fly to Steamboat Springs this winter, deals have never been sweeter. Perhaps it’s the additional flights (and seats available) into the Hayden/Steamboat airport or the competitive nature of the airlines, but low fares are available. You can still book a slew of direct flights for under $250 round-trip.
Airline service into Steamboat Springs this winter includes major carriers like United, Continental, American, Delta, Northwest and Frontier. Direct flights stem from major hubs like Atlanta, New York, Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis, Detroit, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The Steamboat.com website is advertising American Airlines round-trip fares from both Chicago and Dallas for $124 per person, each way. Northwest Airlines is offering the same fare from its Minneapolis hub.
From Atlanta or New York’s Laquardia airport, you can jump on a non-stop flight to Hayden with Delta for as little as $119 per person each way.
If you’re traveling from the west coast, Delta flights from both San Francisco and Los Angeles can be found for as low as $149 per person each way, based on round-trip purchase.
However, if you haven’t booked your flights yet, you should act quickly. These fares are being advertising as “sale” prices so who knows how long they will last. The cheap fares from Houston to Steamboat on Continental have already expired.
