The number of new listings decreases between Thanksgiving and Christmas as people focus on family, holidays, and travel. November can be a great month for purchasing, as sellers tend to be more motivated, and the buyer pool shrinks over the holidays. Keep an eye on mortgage rates, as they have been dropping for five straight weeks!
