Mortgage rates dropped through December, plateaued slightly in January, and rose in February. These rising rates of late have slowed some of the buyer momentum and have many sitting on the sidelines waiting to see what happens next. However, cash is still at play in mountain markets, and the low inventory has kept prices steady.
