December Market Insights 2023

 The last couple of months of the year are historically “slower” in the Steamboat real estate market, with fewer transactions taking place as we near the holidays. The number of active listings is up slightly since this time last year, giving some new options for buyers. However, we continue to hover around record-low inventory levels. Continued low supply has resulted in lower sales volume and a lower number of pending sales this year. Prices continue to rise despite the high-interest rate environment, given the high demand and low supply.
