5 Bedrooms | 7 Bathrooms
5,258 Square Feet | 154.77 Acres
Built in 2000

Surrounded by Aspen groves and bordering National Forest sits Emma Lake Ranch, an exquisite rustic estate and caretaker home on 154+ acres. Envisioned by Joe Patrick Robbins and built by Gary Cogswell, the home embodies the Old West, but with all the modern conveniences of today.

Spanning over 5,200 square feet, the sprawling residence includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms with unmatched custom craftsmanship. Reclaimed lumber from around the country graces the home including beams from the former Kodak factory and yellow pine flooring from a 1860s barn in Pennsylvania. The large floor-to-ceiling picture windows allow for spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Emma Lake.

The open floor plan includes a spacious great room, gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, dining area with handcrafted chandeliers, office, family room, and a large walk-out deck to enjoy evenings by the lake. The oversized 2-car garage is off the main level and allows the owner extra storage space for all their outdoor activities.

The quaint, 2 bedroom caretaker residence built with the same architectural theme, spans 1,200 square feet and has its own 1-car garage.

Morrison Creek flows through the property and Emma Lake offers private fishing for the owner. Recreational opportunities abound with world-class hunting out the back door. #4269000

LYNX PASS AREA

The Lynx Pass area is approximately 30 miles from Steamboat Springs, CO. The habitat varies from lodgepole pine, quaking aspen, and subalpine fir forests with grasslands and wetlands intermixed. Following the northern half of Lynx Pass, Morrison Creek has a very diverse ecosystem worth exploring. Wildlife sightings are common and include moose, mule deer, bear, and songbirds. Additionally, the ATV and motorcycle accessible Muddy Slide Trail can be found at two locations along this scenic byway of Lynx Pass. If hiking or mountain biking is a better option, the Tepee Creek Trail can be found within a short walking distance from the Lynx Pass Campground. Lynx Pass is a great place to view wildflowers as early as May but flowering typically reaches its peak in June and July.
